Our beautiful children grow so quickly that often they get too big for clothes that still look great. And the way to organize your baby clothes tidily is so important. Baby clothes organization can be approached a few different ways. You can store them by hanging in one wardrobe or store them on a dresser. Here are some tips on organizing baby clothes:
Organizing the closet
Hanging dividers will be your saving grace in the closet. you can choose to keep out only the current size your baby is wearing, or also include the next size up, purchase or create hang tags for the sizes. For example, if you had newborn to 6 months clothing in your babies closet, you would have a hangtag for 0-3 months and 3-6 months for each type of clothing. This might be as simple as “play clothes,” “dress clothes,” etc. or it might be even a more basic “short sleeve shirts,” “jumpers,” etc.
Organizing the drawers.
Since baby clothes are so small, it’s easy to get a lot of them in a small space; especially if you effectively utilize drawer organizers. Fold, or roll, onesies and store them all in one section. Do the same for socks, bibs, burp clothes, and any other items you would like to store in the drawer. If you want to do even one better, make little stick-on labels to adhere to the lip of the drawer, indicating what goes in each space.
You can hang your baby clothes on children’s huggable hangers. This way will help you save a lot of space and make baby clothes easy to see.
